Parallaxes fait partie de la série D-Instinct, des duos où François Wong invite un·e musicien·ne pour une session duo de musique libre et improvisée. Une fois la bande fixée, elle est remise à Eva Grüber, peintre et plasticienne. Dans son atelier, et à la première écoute, elle poursuit le processus d’improvisation en peignant d’un jet. Son travail devient la pochette du disque.
D-Instinct, ce sont deux improvisations dans des temps différents, des gestes et une énergie commune, l’écoute et l’instinct placés au centre pour aboutir à cet « objet » numérique.

Parallaxes is part of the D-Instinct, a serie of duos where François Wong invites a musician for an impro recorded session. Once mixed, the artist Eva Grüber listens to the album while improvising herself, straightforward with her paintbrushes. Her work becomes the visual support of the album.
D-Instinct gathers two improvisations in different times, common energy and gesture, with listening and instinct used to produce this digital “object”.
